The World Happiness Report is a measure of happiness published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
In July 2011, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution inviting member countries to measure the happiness of their people and to use this to help guide their public policies.
The first World Happiness Report was released on April 1, 2012
The Main factors that affects happiness report are Caring, Freedom, Generosity, Honesty, Health, Income, Good Governance and many more.
As per the report of 2017 Norway is the overall happiest country in the world, even though oil prices have dropped. Norway has jumped from 4th place in 2016 to 1st place this year, In top ten list Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Sweden.
Norway achieves and maintains its high happiness not because of its oil wealth, but in spite of it. By choosing to produce its oil slowly, and investing the proceeds for the future rather than spending them in the present.
Now let’s talk about India. So The World Happiness Report – 2017 is not really happiness for India. India ranked at 122 out of 155 countries, four notches below its previous rank of 118.
Among the eight Saarc nations, Pakistan was at 80th position, Nepal was at 99, Bhutan at 97, Bangladesh at 110 while Sri Lanka was at 120.
Even USA ranked 14th and Russia at 49.
Central African Republic is the saddest country because it ranked 155th.
The Report Said, “ Differences in mental health, physical health and personal relationships : The biggest single source of misery is Mental Illness.”
So from today please Start to be happy !

Great info!
However, as long as there’s love, happiness will keep growing in people’s hearts.
For instance, we relocated to Bulgaria and even though the image of the country is unfairly bad, we’re enjoying life, history and nature here with all our local and foreign friends.
Peace and love!

destigmatizing mental health in the U.S. should be a top priority; it’s one of the ways Norway gets to have that title. 🙂 I worry with this administration that has fallen way down on the priority list.

Its a great place but very cold for 9 months a year. When I went last year I also found it very expensive. Saying that it is a beautiful place and the people are very friendly.
